Step 1: Entering the state of Ihram

• Change into the Ihram garments before reaching the designated boundary known as the Miqat.
• Perform two Rakahs of Salah and make the intention for Umrah as the Miqat approaches.
• Recite the Talbiyah frequently, proclaiming your readiness for the pilgrimage.

Step 2: Tawaf al-Umrah

• Perform Tawaf al-Umrah around the Kaaba, starting from the Hajr-e-Aswad (Black Stone) corner.
• Complete seven circuits of circumambulation in an anti-clockwise direction.
• After Tawaf, offer two rakahs of Salah, preferably near Maqam Ibrahim.

Step 3: Sa'i of Safa and Marwah

• Proceed to the hills of Safa and Marwah.
• Perform Sa'i by walking between Safa and Marwah seven times, emulating the actions of Hazrat Hajra (A.S) in search of water for her son Ismail (peace be upon him).

Step 4: Shaving or Shortening the hair

• Finally, shave (Halq) or shorten (Taqsir) your hair, marking the completion of your Umrah.
• Shaving the head is more virtuous, but shortening the hair is also acceptable.
• By doing so, you are allowed to leave the state of Ihram and conclude your Umrah.
