New Streamlined Process: Training, Medical Certification, and Document Distribution Combined at 10 Haji Camps Starting April 8, 2026
ISLAMABAD, March 30, 2026 – In a significant move to facilitate the 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony (MoRA) has officially launched a streamlined "One-Stop" Hajj 2026 Readiness Drive. This new initiative ensures that pilgrims no longer need to visit multiple departments for their pre-departure formalities.
The Problem: Logistical Hurdles for Pilgrims
Historically, pilgrims faced delays by visiting separate centers for ritual training, medical check-ups, and document collection (visas/tickets). This often led to confusion and missing deadlines, risking their seat in the flight operation.
The Solution: Integrated Haji Camps (Starting April 8, 2026)
The 2026 policy integrates all services into a single visit. Starting April 8, 2026, ten designated Haji camps including those in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta—will provide the following:
- Mandatory Training: Detailed sessions on Hajj rituals (Manasik-e-Hajj), Saudi regulations, and the use of the Nusuk/Pak Hajj App.
- Vaccination Drive: On-site administration of Meningitis (ACWY135), Polio, and recommended COVID-19 boosters.
- Document Collection: Distribution of official Hajj visas, flight tickets, identification lockets (Lanyards), and standardized luggage tags.
- Financial Services: Dedicated bank counters for currency exchange (Saudi Riyals) and medicine packing facilities.
Critical Deadlines and Requirements
- Start Date: April 8, 2026.
- First Hajj Flight: April 18, 2026.
- Mandatory Documents: Pilgrims must bring their Original CNIC and the Computerized Bank Receipt with a photograph.
- Schedule Tracking: All pilgrims are advised to check their specific time slot on the Pak Hajj 2026 Mobile App to avoid overcrowding.
