The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony announced on Friday that private Hajj organizing companies, along with their subsidiaries, have been granted authorization to commence bookings for Hajj 2025.
A ministry spokesperson confirmed that private Hajj scheme bookings will remain open from January 10 through January 31.
The spokesperson further indicated that detailed information regarding various Hajj packages under the private scheme has been made available on the ministry's official website.
Basic packages range from Rs1.1 million to Rs2.15 million, while any premium packages exceeding Rs3 million must first be approved by the Hajj Policy Formulation Committee.
It was emphasized that private operators are required to adhere strictly to the Service Provider Agreement (SPA) when conducting pilgrim bookings. Additionally, operators must submit comprehensive details for packages exceeding Rs3 million during the approval process.
All transactions pertaining to these higher-value packages will be shared with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other relevant authorities.
Pilgrims are urged to confirm the registration of private Hajj companies through the ministry's website or the 'Pak Hajj' mobile application before making any payments. The ministry has also instructed that all financial transactions be processed exclusively through the official bank account of the respective company. A signed service agreement must be obtained for the selected package.
